ProChile, officially known as the Dirección General de Promoción de Exportaciones, is a public institution under the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Chile. It is responsible for promoting the export of Chilean goods and services, attracting foreign investment, and fostering tourism. Established in 1974 as the Instituto de Promoción de Exportaciones, ProChile has expanded its reach with over 50 commercial offices worldwide and 16 regional offices across Chile. The organization supports the internationalization of Chilean companies, particularly small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), by providing high-quality information systems, participation in major international fairs, and tailored programs to enhance export capabilities. ProChile plays a strategic role in integrating Chile into the global economy, contributing to economic development through sustainable and inclusive trade practices.
