The National Centre for Palms & Dates, established in 2011 under the Saudi Ministry of Environment, Water, and Agriculture, is dedicated to advancing the palm and date sector in Saudi Arabia. The Center supports the production, research, and marketing of dates, enhancing their global competitiveness. As the largest exporter of dates, Saudi Arabia hosts approximately 30 million palm trees producing various date varieties, supported by the Center’s genetic seed bank and date quality certification programs. The Center also promotes sustainable farming practices and develops international markets for Saudi dates, aligning with Vision 2030 goals.
