Mazoon Dairy Co. L.L.C. is the Sultanate of Oman’s largest integrated dairy company, established in 2015 with a capital investment of OMR 100 million ($260 million). The company was created as part of Oman's strategy to achieve self-sufficiency in the food sector. Mazoon Dairy operates a state-of-the-art facility in Al Sunaynah, with a farm that currently houses 12, 000 cows, expected to grow to 25, 000 by 2026. The company produces a wide range of dairy products, including fresh milk, laban, yogurts, cheese, ice cream, and juices. Mazoon Dairy is committed to sustainability, utilizing advanced technology in its production processes, including a biogas generation plant that converts cow waste into energy.
