Founded in 2015, ELPHA represents the interests of the European live poultry and hatching egg industry. The association aims to facilitate cooperation and promote activities among associations and companies within the EU involved in primary breeding, incubation, and trade of hatching eggs and day-old poultry. ELPHA works on addressing common issues in animal health, welfare, food safety, and trade. It collaborates closely with other poultry associations, such as AVEC and EPB, to enhance representation and advocacy efforts at European and international levels.
