The National Association of Mangalica Breeders (MOE) is dedicated to preserving and promoting the Mangalica pig breed in Hungary. The association oversees breeding activities, ensuring the genetic integrity and quality of the Mangalica pigs. They focus on both local and international markets, with 70% of their production exported to Asia and America. The Mangalica pig is renowned for its high-fat content and quality meat, often referred to as 'Kobe pork' for its premium quality.
