The Canadian Honey Council (CHC) is the national organization representing the beekeeping industry in Canada. Established in 1940 and incorporated in 1950, the CHC serves as a forum for producers, packers, professionals, provincial associations, and government officials to discuss and recommend actions for the best interests of the Canadian honey bee industry. The CHC represents approximately 13,000 beekeepers who manage over 810,000 colonies, focusing on promoting sustainable beekeeping practices and supporting industry growth through education, research, and advocacy.
