The Mikawa Japanese Black Tea Promotion Council is an organization whose purpose is to promote the rare Japanese black tea ``Fermented Japanese Tea Trinitea'' produced in the Mikawa district of Shirakawa-cho, Kamo-gun, Gifu Prefecture. The history of Shirakawa tea goes back about 600 years, with Uji tea in Kyoto as its origin, and full-scale production began 400 years ago. In recent years, with the increase in demand for Japanese black tea, production of Japanese black tea started 15 years ago. Fermented Japanese tea Trinitea is matured for one year and is characterized by its deep flavor and refreshing aftertaste, offering high-quality Japanese black tea that is a fusion of local tradition and nature.
