Established in 1961, Kuwait Flour Mills & Bakeries Company (KFMB) is a state-owned enterprise specializing in the production of flour, bread, biscuits, pasta, and vegetable oils. With a commitment to food security, KFMB operates multiple facilities, including eight Arabic bakeries and the Sabhan Bakery, which focuses on European bread production. The company processes over 3,000 tons of flour daily and maintains a storage capacity of 375,000 tons at the port. Employing nearly 4,000 individuals, KFMB plays a pivotal role in Kuwait's economy, achieving significant financial milestones, such as a 47% profit increase in 2023, reaching approximately $235 million.
