The Meat and Poultry Processing Technical Assistance Program (MPPTA) at Tuskegee University provides expert support to strengthen local and regional supply chains by assisting small, rural, minority-owned, Native American, and Tribal-owned businesses in the meat and poultry industry. Through access to technical advisors from industry, academia, and government, MPPTA offers guidance on USDA grant applications, project management, and business development. The program provides personalized one-on-one advising, including project and proposal reviews for businesses of all sizes, and delivers educational resources, webinars, and events to address key industry needs.
