Suenaga Kaisan Co., Ltd. is a seafood processing and sales company based in Ishinomaki City, Miyagi Prefecture. The founder, Kanji Suenaga, started the wakame business in 1975, and it became a stock company in 1986. We mainly handle seaweed such as wakame, oysters, kelp, and hijiki, as well as processed seafood products such as oysters, sea squirts, and scallops. In 2016, we became the first company in Japan to obtain HACCP certification from the Japan Fisheries Association for raw edible oysters, and have received high praise for our quality control. We have a directly managed store called ``Suenaga Kaisan Sendai Station Store'' inside Sendai Station, offering a wide range of local specialties.
