Established in 1966 by the merger of Babaeski, Edirne, and Lüleburgaz Oil Seeds Agricultural Sales Cooperatives, S.S. Trakya Yağlı Tohumlar Tarım Satış Kooperatifleri Birliği, commonly known as Trakya Birlik, is a leading agricultural cooperative in Turkey. The organization has grown to encompass 48 cooperatives across the Marmara, Aegean, and Central Anatolia regions, serving approximately 40, 000 members. Trakya Birlik processes a significant portion of Turkey's sunflower production annually, contributing to the agricultural sector by providing high-quality products and services to its members and consumers.
