PTI Technology Highlights: MicroCurrent HVLD Technology PTI revolutionized the conventional HVLD method and introduced a groundbreaking new technology for the integrity testing for all parenteral and biological products including low conductivity liquids such as sterile water for injection (WFI).   MicroCurrent HVLD is referenced in the USP 1207 standard for Container Closure Integrity Testing. Vacuum Decay TechnologyVacuum decay has been substantiated as one of the most practical and sensitive vacuum-based leak detection methods that is suitable for a wide range of packaging formats for pharmaceuticals, medical device package testing and food, beverage and nutrition.  An all-around solution for package quality testing.    This CCI test method gives a reliable, reproducible and accurate quantitative result and a pass or fail determination.  The ASTM F2338 standard vacuum decay test method was developed using PTI’s VeriPac instruments.  It is also listed in ISO 11607 and referenced in the United States Pharmacopeia Chapter (USP 1207) on CCI.  This method is also a recognized FDA consensus standard. Helium Leak Detection Applications include vials, syringes, cold form blister packs and foil pouches.  Helium leak detection is a highly sensitive method for evaluation of container closure integrity in pharmaceutical packaging.  Helium technology can be used for cold temperature CCI testing. Seal Quality Inspection with Airborne Ultrasound Airborne ultrasound technology is a non-destructive and non-invasive seal quality inspection method for pouches and flexible package inspection.  Airborne ultrasound is an ASTM Test Method F3004 and recognized by the FDA as a standard for seal quality testing and analysis.  Seal-Scan is the offline laboratory analytical solution.  Seal-Sensor is the 100% fully automated inline seal-quality testing solution.
