Morvarid Petrochemical Company, established in 2007, is a prominent player in Iran's petrochemical industry. Located in the Pars Special Economic Energy Zone in Asaluyeh, the company operates one of the country's largest olefin units with an annual ethylene production capacity of 500, 000 tons, accounting for approximately 8% of Iran's total ethylene output. Additionally, Morvarid produces 553, 000 tons of ethylene glycol per year, making it the largest ethylene glycol producer in Iran.
