In January 2007 Layton Manufacturing Company, a 47-year-old Construction Equipment Machinery Manufacturer purchased Welliver Metal Products. Welliver was founded in 1966 and was a world leader in the development, design, engineering, manufacture, installation, and startup of high-quality systems for the food and industrial processing industry. In addition, Layton purchased ABM McLaughlin Co., a 70-year-old company, that was a leader in the design and manufacture of Automated Processing Equipment, primarily for the Berry and Nut Processing Industries. Everything we do is focused on bringing full value to our customers. We provide innovative solutions to improve productivity, reduce the costs of production, and minimize downtime. We provide machines for sizing and grading of fruits and vegetables, automated packaging machines, briners, tote dumpers, belt and vibratory conveyors, and other time-tested machinery.
