The Japan Food Recovery Association, a general incorporated association, was established on July 15, 2022, and provides a platform to connect all industries and realize the 10th industrialization of food. We are promoting the reduction of food loss throughout the supply chain in order to resolve global poverty and hunger, which are SDG issues. Specific activities include operating a free public refrigerator system, operating a paid food bank, holding information exchange meetings, and providing consulting.
