Established in 1997, the Istanbul Convention & Visitors Bureau (ICVB) is a non-profit destination marketing organization working as a branch of the Tourism Development & Education Foundation (TUGEV). ICVB aims to represent Istanbul around the world, promoting it as a top destination for international congresses and events. The bureau collaborates with various stakeholders, including the Turkish Ministry of Culture & Tourism, the Istanbul Chamber of Commerce, and the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality. ICVB is also an active member of several international meetings industry organizations.
