Established in 1960, the International Development Association (IDA) is a member of the World Bank Group that provides concessional loans and grants to the world's poorest developing countries. IDA aims to reduce poverty by offering financial and technical assistance for projects and programs that boost economic growth, reduce inequalities, and improve living conditions. While Egypt graduated from IDA assistance in 1981, the association continues to support various development initiatives globally.
