The ICAR-Directorate of Poultry Research (DPR), established on March 1, 1988, is a premier research institute under the Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR). Located in Hyderabad, Telangana, DPR focuses on conducting basic and applied research to enhance poultry productivity. The institute is dedicated to developing new germplasm for rural poultry husbandry and offers capacity-building programs.
