Established by Ministerial Decree in October 2005, the Engineering Export Council of Egypt (EECE) aims to enhance the competitiveness of Egyptian engineering products in global markets. Serving as a liaison between its members and governmental agencies, EECE focuses on defining target markets and products, organizing trade missions, and participating in international exhibitions to boost engineering exports. The council reported a 25.6% increase in engineering industry exports, reaching $3.936 billion from January to September 2024, up from $3.133 billion during the same period in 2023.
