Founded in 2012 by three entrepreneurs with significant experience in agricultural raw material processing, retail, production, import, and export, DKC GRUP GIDA SANAYİ A.Ş. is based in Fatsa, Ordu, Turkey. The company specializes in producing breakfast spreads made from nuts, boutique extra virgin and natural oils (such as hazelnut, walnut, sesame), sesame, and tahini. DKC GRUP has set ambitious goals, including capturing a minimum 3% share in the spreadable hazelnut cream market by 2017 and achieving market leadership in products like spreadable creams, pralines, pastes, ice cream sauces, and purees made from pistachios, almonds, walnuts, and peanuts by 2017/2018. By 2020, the company aimed to expand into tourism and retail sectors, in addition to its growth in nut-based breakfast products and natural oils. DKC GRUP is committed to adding value to locally produced agricultural products by transforming them into industrial goods, thereby creating employment opportunities in the Ordu region.
