Raw Milk
Established in 2003, DEFNE TARIM HAYVANCILIK GIDA ÜRETİM VE TİCARET A.Ş. commenced dairy farming operations in 2004. The company produces raw milk in compliance with EU standards on a 650-decare land with 26, 000 m² of indoor facilities. In 2006, it was awarded by the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) for quality raw milk production. The company holds the Disease-Free Enterprise Certificate since 2006 and the Approved Dairy Farm Certificate since 2011. Modernization projects focusing on animal welfare and production increase have been supported by the Izmir Development Agency.
