Established between 1992 and 1996, Bandar Abbas Oil Refining Company commenced production in 1997. With a refining capacity of 335, 000 barrels per day, it processes heavy crude oil and condensates. The refinery's production units include Atmospheric Distillation, Vacuum Distillation, Visbreaker, LPG Recovery, Isomerization, Gas Oil Hydrotreater, Naphtha Hydrotreater, Kerosene Hydrotreater, Hydrogen Production, Catalytic Reforming, Continuous Catalytic Reformer, Isomax, Sulfur Recovery, and related utilities. The company holds ISO certifications such as ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO/TS 29001, ISO 50001, ISO/IEC 17025, OHSAS 18001, and HSE/MS (IMS).
