Established in 1919 by Greek chocolatier Tommy Christou, the Alexandria Confectionery & Chocolate Company, known as Corona, is Egypt's oldest confectionery and chocolate manufacturer. Initially named the Royal Chocolate Works of Egypt, the company was nationalized in 1963 and later privatized in 2000, becoming part of Sami Saad Holding Group. Corona offers a diverse range of products, including chocolates, biscuits, hard and soft candies, and chewing gum, catering to both domestic and international markets.
