The U.S. National Poultry Research Center (USNPRC), located in Athens, Georgia, is part of the Southeast Area of the Agricultural Research Service (ARS) under the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA). The center comprises the Richard B. Russell Agricultural Research Center and the Southeast Poultry Research Laboratory. USNPRC conducts research to ensure and improve food and feed safety, enhance food and crop quality and production efficiency, and explore the practical applications of natural chemical and biochemical products. The center's mission is to support the poultry industry through scientific research and innovation.
