Founded in 2014 by K.C. Sullivan, Two River Gourmet Mushrooms LLC is a small-scale farm located on Mighty Dare Farm, a 25-acre farmland preserve in historic Millstone, New Jersey. The company specializes in cultivating high-quality USDA Organic gourmet mushrooms, including varieties such as King Trumpet Oyster, Maitake, Lion's Mane, Chestnut, Golden Oyster, Pioppino, and Shiitake. Their products are favored by both restaurant chefs and home cooks across New Jersey. In addition to fresh mushrooms, they produce a Mushroom Broth made with organic Lion's Mane and Shiitake mushrooms, which won the 2023 sofi™ Gold Product Award in the Soup/Broth category. Two River Gourmet Mushrooms supplies over 50 of Central New Jersey’s finest restaurants and 25 retail locations, including Sickles, Delicious Orchards, Nature’s Corner, Foodtown, and ShopRite, as well as several local farmers’ markets and CSAs.
