Temi Tea Estate is the only tea garden in Sikkim, established by the Government of Sikkim in 1969. It is renowned for producing premium organic teas, including black, white, green, and oolong teas, grown at elevations ranging from 1200 to 1800 meters above sea level. The estate spans 440 acres and follows organic farming methods as certified by the Institute of Marketecology (IMO) of Switzerland. The tea produced is known for its high quality and is marketed under brands such as 'Temi Tea' and 'Sikkim Solja'.
