The Agricultural and Processed Food Products Export Development Authority (APEDA) was established by the Government of India in 1985. It promotes the export of agricultural and processed food products, provides financial assistance, registers exporters, and ensures the quality and standards of products for export. APEDA covers a wide range of products including fruits, vegetables, meat, dairy, confectionery, cereals, and more, and operates through its head office in New Delhi and 16 regional offices across India.
