Bihar Animal Sciences University (BASU), established in 2016 and operational from 2017, aims to impart education in various branches of Veterinary Science & Animal Husbandry, Fisheries, Dairy Technology, and allied fields. It promotes research and extension activities to enhance the knowledge and practice in these fields, facilitating improvements in the rural economy of Bihar.
