Founded in 1868, the American Jersey Cattle Association (AJCA) is the oldest dairy breed association in the United States. The AJCA promotes and supports the breeding of Jersey cattle, renowned for their high-quality milk with superior butterfat and protein content. AJCA provides services that facilitate genetic improvement, data management, and performance monitoring to improve profitability for Jersey cattle breeders and dairy farmers. The Association also runs youth programs and the Jersey Youth Academy, aimed at educating young people in the industry.
