Majlis Amanah Rakyat (MARA) is a Malaysian government agency formed on March 1, 1966, under the Ministry of Rural Development. Its primary mission is to aid, train, and guide Bumiputra (Malays and other indigenous Malaysians) in business and industry to elevate their socio-economic status. MARA offers a range of services, including education financing, entrepreneurship development, vocational and technical education, and investment services. The agency supports various educational institutions like Universiti Kuala Lumpur (UniKL), German-Malaysian Institute (GMI), and MARA Junior Science Colleges (MRSM).
