Established in 1988, Penny's Hill is located in McLaren Vale, South Australia, and is committed to sustainability. The winery received certification from Sustainable Winegrowing Australia in 2023. Chief Winemaker Alexia Roberts has led the winery since 2013, focusing on producing Grenache, Shiraz, and Cabernet Sauvignon, as well as Mediterranean varieties that thrive in the region's climate. The wines produced at Penny's Hill are vibrant, textural, and varietal expressions that showcase each vineyard's unique terroir and heritage. Penny's Hill wines have received global acclaim since their inception, with the most recent being the 2023 'Yeenunga' Grenache, which won the prestigious 'Best in Show' award at the Decanter World Wine Awards in 2024. This recognition highlights the winery's commitment to creating exceptional wines that celebrate the region and its sustainable practices.
