Company Overview
The Haan vineyards, established in 1996, offer grapes that continually produce wines of high quality, having attracted a 5-star rating from Australia’s foremost wine critic, James Halliday, and producing wines of up to 96 points. The vineyards and winery are situated on the floor of the Barossa Valley, easily accessible via a sealed main road. It is only around 60 minutes from Adelaide. The grape-growing area of 18.3 hectares is supported by water stored on the property and is used as required during the growing season, which is vital given that Australia has just come out of 10-year drought and water is expensive. The Haan Estate also grows some exceptional merlot, together with a small amount of malbec, petit verdot and viognier.
