Amul Dairy, founded in 1946, is a part of the Gujarat Co-operative Milk Marketing Federation Ltd. (GCMMF). Amul played a crucial role in India’s White Revolution, which transformed the country into the world's largest milk producer. The cooperative's model, inspired by Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel and guided by Tribhuvandas Patel and Dr. Verghese Kurien, focuses on providing remunerative returns to farmers and high-quality products to consumers. Amul’s product range includes milk, butter, ghee, cheese, ice cream, paneer, and other dairy products. With a robust network of 18 member unions and over 3.6 million milk producers, Amul has a significant presence in both domestic and international markets.
