The Naechon is a renowned woodworking shop located in a secluded mountain valley in Hongcheon County, Gangwon Province, South Korea. The workshop is led by woodworker Lee Jeong-seob and adviser Kim Min-sik, who has traveled extensively to source the world's highest-quality wood. The Naechon specializes in crafting environmentally-friendly furniture and has built and sold wooden houses across Korea, including in Pyeongchang-dong, Seoul, and Jeju Island. The workshop is frequented by prominent designers and architects, including Japanese architect Tadao Ando, who praised Lee's work for its powerful design.
