Taiwan Packaging Association (TPA) was established in 1965, originally known as the Chinese Taipei Product Packaging Institute. The Association aims to research packaging knowledge and technology, develop the packaging equipment industry, improve packaging methods, and promote product channels. TPA organizes the annual TAIPEI PACK trade show with the Taiwan External Trade Development Council (TAITRA), publishes the annual purchaser guidelines for TAIPEI PACK, and assists members in obtaining subsidies for overseas expos. It also provides consulting services for operations, management, technical upgrades, and innovative consultation to its members.
