Established in 2018, Société Toumour Mauritania (STM) is the first national company in Mauritania specializing in the preservation and commercialization of dates and vegetables. Located in Atar, a region renowned for its palm groves, STM aims to enhance the competitiveness of Mauritanian dates against imported varieties by improving quality standards and expanding market reach. The company operates a facility covering 2, 674 square meters, equipped with four cold storage rooms, two freezing chambers, and processing workshops, boasting a storage capacity of 500 tons. STM's initiatives contribute to local economic development by creating employment opportunities and supporting sustainable agricultural practices.
