The winery, founded by Keppell Smith, focuses on minimalistic, hands-off winemaking techniques that emphasize the quality of the fruit from their vineyard. Savaterre's wines are crafted with wild yeast fermentation and aged in French oak barriques for 18 months, followed by six months in bottle before release.
