Rosehip of Ukraine, founded on February 2, 2023, specializes in the cultivation and propagation of rosehip varieties, in particular the 'Kovcheg-1' variety, patented in Ukraine in 2021 (patent #211162). The company is engaged in reproduction of plants and cultivation of berries, nuts and other fruit trees and shrubs. The owner of the patent is Ukrainian breeder and farmer Dmytro Bondarenko. Work on reproduction of this variety by the 'in vitro' method has been carried out for more than 4 years, and to date more than 100,000 plant clones have been planted in Ukraine.
