Established in 1988, P & E Manufacturing Ltd. began as a local welding, machining, and metal fabrication shop. In 1995, responding to local demand and leveraging strong ties with regional boatbuilders, the company started manufacturing access hatches for commercial fishing boats. This success led to the creation of their marine division, Anchor Hatches, which now offers a range of marine products worldwide, including grab rails, seat posts, rudders, shafts, propeller nuts, and Coast Guard certified fuel and hydraulic tanks.
