The Organic Farming Association of India (OFAI) was established in 2002 by senior members of India's organic farming community. The association promotes organic farming, lobbies with government agencies for sustainable agriculture policies, and assists farmers in transitioning from chemical-based to organic farming. OFAI is a membership-based national association comprising organic farmers, promoters, and green stores, advocating against genetically modified organisms and for gender equality in farming activities. The organization conducts various events, workshops, and conventions to support and educate the organic farming community.
