Metala Wines, located in Langhorne Creek, South Australia, is home to some of the oldest family-owned Cabernet Sauvignon vines in the world. Founded by William Formby in 1882, Metala has a rich history of viticulture, with the first Shiraz and Cabernet vines planted in 1891. Today, the winery is managed by fifth-generation custodian Guy Adams, who continues the family legacy of producing high-quality wines with a strong connection to the land.
