The Livelihood Business Incubator (LBI) is a government initiative under the Ministry of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSME), established to promote self-employment and entrepreneurship in rural and underserved areas. LBIs provide training, skill development, and incubation support, helping individuals, including members of Self-Help Groups, establish micro-enterprises. The incubators focus on fostering sustainable businesses in the agro-rural sector. The initiative is part of the ASPIRE scheme, which promotes innovation, rural industries, and entrepreneurship across India.
