KMP Bambu Wanatani Lestari is a cooperative established as part of the Indonesian government's efforts to promote sustainable bamboo agroforestry in Nusa Tenggara Timur (NTT). Supported by the Kementerian Koperasi dan UKM and various stakeholders, the cooperative focuses on bamboo cultivation, processing, and community empowerment. The cooperative produces laminated bamboo boards for construction and furniture, with a vision to restore degraded lands, promote women's empowerment, and contribute to climate change mitigation. The project aims to increase the economic value of bamboo products, from raw materials to semi-finished goods.
