JSC Bioamid is a Russian biotechnology company founded in 1996 on the basis of the Saratov branch of the All-Russia Research Institute of Genetics and Selection of Industrial Microorganisms. The company specializes in the development and production of biocatalysts for the production of acrylamide, acrylic acid and L-aspartic acid, as well as feed additives for agriculture. Bioamid is a laureate of Russian Government awards in the field of science and technology and a resident of the Skolkovo innovation center. In 2024, a controlling stake in the company was acquired by Norkem Holding JSC, which opened up new opportunities for the development and scaling of production.
