India FoodBanking Network (IFBN) is an initiative aimed at addressing hunger and malnutrition in India through a network of food banks. Established by the Food Security Foundation India, IFBN collaborates with the private sector, government, and NGOs to collect and distribute food to vulnerable communities. The network works towards achieving the United Nations Sustainable Development Goal 2, which focuses on ending hunger and improving nutrition by 2030. IFBN supports numerous programs including school feeding initiatives, emergency food assistance, and surplus food distribution, aiming to create a hunger-free India.
