Founded in 2015 by Hillhamn Salome, Flor de Luna is Mexico's first female-powered distillery, located in Mexico City. The distillery is known for producing Xila, a unique mezcal-based liqueur infused with seven distinct notes: roasted pineapple, ancho chile, cinnamon, pepper, clove, hibiscus, and lavender. Flor de Luna emphasizes sustainable and organic practices, using a solar distiller and handpicking botanicals. The distillery, operated by a team of women, also produces lavender and lychee liqueurs, as well as various bitters.
