European Cheestories is an initiative that showcases the rich heritage of European cheeses, particularly those from Spain. The platform highlights over 150 varieties, including 27 Protected Designations of Origin (PDO) and 4 Protected Geographical Indications (PGI). It delves into the unique production methods, cultural significance, and diverse flavors of these cheeses, offering insights into categories such as sheep, goat, blue, and blended cheeses. The project emphasizes the European Production Model, which upholds high standards of food safety, traceability, sustainability, and animal welfare, ensuring that only top-quality cheeses reach consumers' tables.
