Cofodema, also known as the Corporación Observatorio del Mercado Alimentario (CODEMA), is a Chilean organization established to promote and support the traditional agri-food and fisheries market channels. It comprises various stakeholders, including free fairs, artisanal fishing, small-scale agriculture, and consumers, aiming to enhance the commercialization of healthy foods within Chile. Cofodema engages in projects such as the implementation of Microbancos de Alimentos (Food Microbanks) to recover and distribute surplus food from markets to communities in need.
