CODIPSA (Compañía de Desarrollo y de Industrialización de Productos Primarios S.A.) was founded in 1998 by a group of Mennonites to industrialize cassava (mandioca) production in Paraguay. The company started as a small starch industry and has since grown to become the leading producer and exporter of cassava starch in the Americas. With four production plants, CODIPSA provides significant support to over 4,000 small farmers and contributes to rural economic development. It exports high-quality products worldwide, including to Europe, the Americas, and Africa, and holds certifications such as ISO 22000, Kosher, and FDA.
