The Coconut Development Board (CDB) is a statutory body established under the Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare, Government of India. It was founded on January 12, 1981, to promote the integrated development of coconut cultivation and industry in India. The Board focuses on productivity increase and product diversification, offering support for technical advice, financial assistance, and the adoption of modern technologies. CDB operates several schemes for market promotion, technology demonstration, and replanting and rejuvenation of coconut gardens.
